SCHOOLS across South Yorkshire are being given the opportuity to win theatre tickets for their class by submitting a video to Sheffield Theatres.
The competition is for school children aged 8 and upwards, and they have to reenact the wedding scene from the play, A Midsummer Nights Dream.
The group have to devise their own piece for video and submit it to Sheffield Theatres by June 18.
The winning school will win tickets for their class and accompanying teachers to see the show when it plays in the Crucible from 27 September to 10 October.
Robert Hastie, director of the show, said: ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a play all about music, magic and make-believe. Your version of this classic scene can be as imaginative as you’d like. We want you to engage your imaginations, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with.’
