THE International Market will make a welcome return to Barnsley town centre as part of the Tour de Yorkshire celebrations on 4 May.
The market – provided by market operator Market Place - will arrive on Kendray Street on Thursday 3 May and run until Saturday 5 May, giving locals and race-goers plenty of opportunity to browse and sample a selection of mouth-watering foods, beautiful gifts and delightful crafts.

Those wanting to take a flavour of the world home with them will be able to purchase a great selection of fresh foods including olives, cheeses, salami, breads and cakes.
Meanwhile, a Continental Street Bar with a variety of Continental beers and wine will provide a welcome break to shoppers.
Visitors can also expect to explore a unique range of jewellery, clothing, wooden furniture and carvings as well as handmade ceramics, while gardeners will be able to pay a visit to a Dutch plant stall to get something to liven up their flower beds.
The International Market will open from 9am-6pm, with the bar staying open while 8pm.
