TRIBUTES have been flooding in following the death of 14-year-old Paige Bateman, who was tragically killed in an accident on Friday.
The Barnsley Academy student was involved in a collision on Doncaster road involving a green Scania lorry.
Friends of Paige have set up a balloon release in memory of the teenager, which will take place tomorrow (May 1).
Attendees are asked to meet at 4:30pm at Swanee Pond, on Yews Lane. A walk will then be made down to Doncaster Road Park, where the balloons will then be released for Paige's family to see.
Emily Land, who organised the event has asked people who want to attend to be respectful, and everyone is welcome.
A Crowdfunding page has also been set up to cover the cost of Paige's funeral and memorial service.
