THE Metrodome have announced they will be hosting weekly fitness sessions for disabled people and their carers.

Every Tuesday, people with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities can pay a reduced fee to participate in activities from swimming and Zumba to ten pin bowling and a workout in the gym, as well as enjoying lunch in the Rigby cafe. Carers are also welcome to attend and assist throughout the day.

Fitness Flex facility manager at the Metrodome Michael Cutts said: "We are a local leisure centre for local people and that means everyone. We want everyone in the community to have somewhere they can come and find activities which suit their needs."
