A 35-YEAR-OLD is due in court on Friday April 20 charged with a string of burglary offences.
Lee Martin Walshaw, of Rebecca Row, was arrested on Wednesday April 18, in connection to a number of burglaries in the town centre.
He was later charged with four counts of burglary. The charges relate to three incidents between April 11 and April 15, when Papa Johns, Upper New Street, was broken into and cash stolen on two occasions.
The fourth charge relates to an incident between April 15 and 16 April, when Berry’s Opticians, Market Street, was broken into and two laptops stolen.
Walshaw is remanded into custody to appear before Sheffield Magistrate’s Court today.
