AN INVESTIGATION is underway after the body of a man was discovered on Princess Street near the town centre.
Officers were called to a property on the street at around 11am yesterday morning (Monday March 12) following the discovery of the man's body, who's thought to be in his 20s.
The man has not yet been identified.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Enquiries currently remain ongoing in the area to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding his death.
"A number of agencies are assisting with these enquiries and there is no wider risk to members of the local community."
