A MAN was stabbed in Athersley North on Sunday after a distrubance which saw two men arrested.
Police were called just after 9am on Sunday morning (February 25) to reports of an incident at a property on Clifton Close.
A 27-year-old man suffered suspected stab wounds that required hospital treatment. The injuries are not thought to be serious.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
