BARNSLEY boxer Josh Wale makes the second defence of his British title tomorrow night, knowing a win puts him just one victory away from making history.
Brampton lad Josh, 29, a bantamweight, became just the fourth Barnsley man ever to win the British belt when he beat Jamie Wilson in Doncaster last summer, joining fellow pugilists Charlie Hardcastle, Chris Saunders and Robbie Barrett as title holders from Barnsley.
'Outlaw' then made history by becoming the first fighter from the town to successfully defend the crown, spectacularly knocking out Don Broadhurst in Manchester in September.
He takes on Bobby Jenkinson at Ponds Forge in Sheffield tomorrow knowing a win puts him just one victory away from claiming the British title outright, something no other Barnsley fighter has done and a notoriously difficult feat to achieve.
You can catch Josh's fight on FreeSports TV.
