OFFICERS will be out in force across Barnsley today as Operation Duxford returns to Barnsley.
Operation Duxford aims to identify and protect vulnerable people, tackle antisocial behaviour and also disrupt organised crime groups.
Police will be working to disrupt the activities of organised crime groups and engage with the community as part of a dedicated operation.
They will be working closely alongside partner agencies to address issues raised by members of the local community.
Chief Inspector Chris Foster said: “Officers have already been out conducting intelligence led warrants this morning and further activity is set to continue throughout the rest of the day and well into the evening."
