POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a hit and run in Monk Bretton left a woman in hospital.
The 58-year-old victim was hit by a motorbike on Burton Road at around 2.15pm yesterday afternoon (Monday, December 4).
A police spokeswoman said: "The motorbike is reported to have failed to stop at the scene.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident it asked to report it via 101 quoting incident number 496 of December 4."
