ROAD closures will be in place around the town centre for the Christmas lights switch on this Wednesday.
Roads affected are:
From 10am to 10pm
• Church Street from St. Mary’s Gate to junction with Market Hill and Shambles St
• Regent Street to junction with Eastgate
• Sadler Gate
4pm to 7pm
• Church Street
• Regent Street
• Eastgate
• Eldon Street
• Market Hill
• St Mary’s Place
• Church Lane
• Mayday Green
• Queen Street
• Market Street
5.55pm to 6.15pm
• Shambles Street
• Westgate
On-street parking restrictions:
The following on-street parking bays in the town centre will be suspended from 10am, November 22.
• Regent Street
• Church Street
• St Mary’s Place
• Sadler Gate
Parking bays on the following streets will still be in use but will be affected by the road closures mentioned above:

• Market Hill
• Royal Street
• Hanson Street
• Eastgate
