POLICE are hunting for two men who attacked a man after trying to steal his dog while out on a walk this morning.
The incident happened around 4.45am when the victim was walking along Lowfield Road, Bolton-Upon-Dearne when he was approached by the two attackers.
During the incident, the man suffered minor injuries, including scratches to his head and bruising.
The two men are both described as white and had their faces partially covered.
A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are now ongoing to identify those involved and anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident number 80 of November 14 2017."
