POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit with a glass bottle outside a Barnsley pub leaving him with serious facial injuries.
The incident happened around 2.30am on Saturday October 7, when the 28-year-old victim had the bottle thrown at him by a man outside the Bridge Inn, on Bridge Street in Penistone.
A police spokesperson added: "The assault caused serious facial injuries that will require ongoing hospital treatment."
