POLICE are looking for two locals who helped an injured man after he'd allegedly being kidnapped and dumped at Manvers boating lake.

The injured 22-year-old was found at around 2am on June 17 this year, and was taken to the fire station on Manvers Way where emergency services were called.

The man said he had been kidnapped from Church Street, Swinton, in the early hours of Saturday morning and then allegedly assaulted before being taken to the boating lake.

Two 24-year-old men have been charged in connection with the incident. They appeared at court in late June 2017 charged with kidnap and legal proceedings are ongoing.
