LOCAL care homes have been urged to put themselves forward for a prestigious free to enter awards scheme, with nominations closing in a few weeks.
The Caring UK Awards are organised by Barnsley based Script Events in partnership with leading industry publication Caring UK, and reward excellence in care homes all around the country.
Organiser Lucy Dickinson said: "The Caring UK Awards have been created to highlight and pay tribute to the care home teams who make an outstanding contribution to caring for the elderly.
“The deadline for nominations is fast approaching, so we’re encouraging care homes to get their entries in before it’s too late.”
