MAJOR roads around Birdwell Roundabout will be closed overnight during the first two weeks in August.
A temporary closure from Birdwell Roundabout to Moor Lane will be in place on the A61 Sheffield Road, Dearne Valley Parkway, A6135 Sheffield Road and the Sheffield Road link road northbound.
The closure will be between the hours of 8pm and 6am on Monday July 31 to Friday August 4, then again on Monday 7 to Wednesday August 9.
Alternative routes will be signposted.
The closure is part of the A61 Birdwell highway improvements scheme, due to be completed by the end of the summer.
