A STRETCH of the Dearne Valley Parkway will be closed for three weeks to allow resurfacing work.
The northbound carriageway between Birdwell roundabout and Rockingham roundabout will be closed from today (Monday July 10).
Traffic heading north on the Dearne Valley Parkway will be diverted towards the Cross Keys roundabout, via the Fitzwilliam roundabout and will rejoin the parkway at the Rockingham roundabout.
The existing diversions/closures for all other routes will stay the same.
It’s anticipated that all the works will be completed by the end of summer 2017.
