BOXER Josh Wale will aim to become only the fourth Barnsley man in history to win a British boxing title on Saturday night.

'The Outlaw' - who campaigns as a bantamweight - has fought for the crown twice before, coming agonisingly close to claiming the belt against world title challengers Gavin McDonnell and Jazza Dickens.

But the Brampton lad will hope it's third time lucky on Saturday, as he meets Scotsman Jamie Wilson in what promises to be a real Battle of Britain.

If he wins, Josh will become only the fourth Barnsley boxer in history to win the coveted British title, behind Charlie Hardcastle, Chris Saunders and Robbie Barrett - who won the lightweight version of the belt back in April.
