A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the neck in Athersley North last night.
Police were called around 9.25pm, after reports of an altercation between two men on Mansfield Road.
A 21-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his neck and was taken to hospital.
A 33-year-old on man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and currently remains in custody.
