A ‘CLICK and collect’ service is being set up for Barnsley’s independent traders - meaning customers will be able to buy products from them online.
Barnsley Council is backing a six month trial of ‘ShopAppy’, a dedicated website that provides an alternative to supermarkets and online retailers by allowing customers to browse and buy local products online from town centre traders.
Customers who use the site can choose to either click and collect direct from the seller or pick up their goods from a town centre collection hub - the location for which is yet to be decided.
What do you think to the idea?
