A WANTED man has been charged with attempted murder after police tracked him down in Norfolk.
Joseph Lowther, 21, was sought by detectives following an incident on December 18 last year, where a 30-year-old man suffered stab wounds in Whispers nightclub on Regent Street.
He sustained serious injuries following the incident and was immediately taken to hospital. He has since been released.
Lowther was arrested in the Norfolk area and was charged yesterday, (May 1) with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.
He will appear at Barnsley Magistrates' Court this morning.
