A MINUTE'S applause is planned for Barnsley's home game against Sheffield Wednesday this weekend in memory of a young Reds fan who suddenly died last week.
Sean Leonard - a season ticket holder - passed away aged just 31 while he was away in Berlin.
Now friends and family have organised the minute's applause that will take place in the 31st minute of the game, which kicks off at 12.30pm on Saturday (April 1).
Family friend Donna Berry wrote on Facebook: "He was looking forward to Saturday's match which he was attending with me and his dad.
"We're still going as it would be what he wanted, but are asking fans who are going if we could give Sean a round of applause as a mark of respect to a great young man. He would have loved it."
