POLICE have sent out an appeal for witnesses after a crash on Dearne Valley Parkway left a man in hospital with serious injuries.
The accident happened at around 6.50pm on Saturday (March 4), when a black VW Golf hit a white Ford Ranger at roundabout with Roebuck Hill near Jump.
The Golf overturned and collided with a lamppost before landing on a grass verge at the side of carriageway.
The 59-year-old male driver of the Golf suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The 24-year-old driver and 22-year-old passenger, both men, in the Ranger also sustained some injuries.
