BARNSLEY HOSPITAL is giving patients the chance to nominate staff for an award.
Now in its eighth year, the hospital will hold its annual Heart Awards in the summer, which awards staff and volunteers for their hard work and dedication.
This year, the hospital is giving patients a chance to nominate an individual or a team for the Patient Choice category - which recognises staff who patients feel have gone above and beyond their line of duty.
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges, before being presented with their award at an awards ceremony on Thursday June 1 at the Holiday Inn.
