A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been banned from attending football matches for three years over his part in crowd trouble at the game between Barnsley and Leeds last month.
Tommy Lee Blessed, of Gaitskell Close, Goldthorpe, appeared at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday February 22) and pleaded guilty to a Section 4 public order offence and was given a three-year football banning order.
Blessed was involved in disorder inside of the ground, which broke out during the match on Saturday January 21/
The banning order prevents him from attending any home or away Barnsley match for three years, as well as any other regulated football match.
