COMMUNITY Groups in Barnsley can apply for up to £10,000 worth of funding thanks to an investment programme.
The Coalfields Community Investment Programme - delivered by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust - is is plowing £500,0000 into former mining towns and villages in the UK.
The Programme will give community groups that are based in coalfield areas the chance to apply for up to £10,000 to support projects that will have a direct and lasting benefit on the employment, skills or health of local people.
