A MAN was sadly reported dead yesterday afternoon, when he was struck by a train.
The emergency services were called at 5.39pm to Barnsley railway station.
A spokesperson from the British Transport Police, said: "We attended, alongside colleagues from the ambulance service, but sadly the man died at the scene.
His death is being treated as non-suspicious."
