POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 25-year-old Barnsley man was hospitalised with serious injuries after being assaulted on a street in Elsecar.
Police say that around 1.20am on Sunday November 27, the man was walking along Strafford Avenue when he was assaulted.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
