A TWELVE-year-old boy who suffered serious burns after being electrocuted on a train track has died.

Just before 6.15pm on Monday (October 3), police were called to the line close to South Elmsall following reports of a person on the tracks.

The boy was treated by paramedics for serious electrical burns, before being taken to hospital where he died this afternoon.
