A HOUSE in Royston has been left badly damaged after it caught fire on Wednesday night.
Four fire crews from Cudworth, Barnsley, Penistone and Parkway stations attended the blaze overnight on Pembridge Court in Royston.
A spokesperson said: "The roof of the property was well alight. No one was home at the time of the fire. Neighbouring properties were evacuated as a precaution."
Crews didn't leave the scene until 2:30am.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
