LOCALS are being invited to have their say on new plans for buses in Penistone.
Using consultation feedback and guidance from Penistone councillors, Barnsley Bus Partnership has now developed recommendations for new bus services, which will be available for residents to discuss at drop-in sessions at Penistone Community Library on Thursday September 15 and Thursday September 22 from 9am-12pm.
Key proposals for the Penistone area include:
Sheffield and Barnsley commuter trips and buses to schools.
Two-hourly evening and weekend services linking local communities.
Penistone – Thurgoland – Barnsley daytime services.
Penistone – Holmfirth daytime services.
