STAGECOACH has announced a number of changes to its bus services from September.
The changes include:
Service 1 Barnsley – Staincross: Timetable reverts to every 10 minutes on Monday – Saturday daytimes.
Service 6 Barnsley – Kendray: Timetable reverts to every 10 minutes on Monday – Friday daytimes.
Service 11 Barnsley – Athersley North: Timetable reverts to every 10 minutes on Monday – Saturday daytimes.
Changes will also be made to the following services:
Services 8/8a Barnsley – Worsbrough Dale: Minor changes to timetable to improve
punctuality.
Service 12 Barnsley – Athersley South: Minor changes to early evening timings to improve punctuality.
Service X19 Barnsley – Doncaster: From Sunday, September 4, a new timetable is introduced. The section of route between Doncaster and Doncaster Sheffield Airport is withdrawn and replaced by First service X4. Some evening journeys between Barnsley and Doncaster are withdrawn following the withdrawal of financial support from SYPTE.
Service 22x Barnsley – Rotherham: Minor changes to times in the afternoon peak between Wath and Rotherham to improve coordination with First services 22a/22c.
Services 28/48 Barnsley/Upton – Pontefract: Minor changes to timetable to improve punctuality.
Services 34/34a Barnsley – Shafton Green: Minor changes to timetable to improve punctuality.
Service 59 Barnsley – Wakefield: Minor changes to evening timetable to improve punctuality.
Services 93/95 Barnsley – Woolley Grange/Kexbrough: Minor changes to timetable at peak periods to improve punctuality.
Service 153 Castleford – Rothwell: Minor changes to timetable to improve punctuality.
Service 154 Rothwell – Morley/Royds School: Minor changes to timetable to improve punctuality.
Service 218 Barnsley – Rotherham: Evening peak timetable changes to improve punctuality and maintain coordination with service 219.
Services 219/219a Barnsley – Doncaster: An additional Monday to Friday journey is introduced: 0620 hrs Goldthorpe to Barnsley, via XPO Logistics at 0649 hrs.
Service 410 Barnsley (Townend roundabout) – Penistone Grammar School: This service will be operated by Stagecoach operating via Dodworth, Gilroyd, Hood Green, Crane Moor and Thurgoland.
Service 422 Dodworth (South Road) - Penistone Grammar School: This service will be operated by Stagecoach operating via Silkstone Common and Thurgoland.
Service 416 Silkstone – Penistone Grammar School: This service will be operated by Globe Coaches.
Service 493 Higham – Darton College: This service will be operated by Globe Coaches.
