A TEENAGER from Barnsley who was filmed hitting and kicking her dog in the street has been given a caution by animal cruelty investigators.
The clip was posted to Facebook in March and was shared thousands of times.
An RSPCA spokeswoman said it was contacted after the footage emerged online, and appealed for anyone with any information to get in touch.
She said: “Our investigation led us to the 17-year-old in the footage, and the dog was seized by police and placed in RSPCA care.
"The dog was found to be uninjured and in good health and there was no evidence that the dog had been previously mistreated.
“The dog was signed over to the RSPCA for rehoming and the teenager accepted a juvenile caution.”
