TWO local lasses are taking on a charity bike ride to raise money for a Barnsley mum who lost her two sons in a house fire.
Ten-year-old Isabelle Harris, and her sister Bethany, 12, will take on a 20 mile bike ride to raise money for Claire Throssell.
Claire's two children, Jack, 12 and Paul, nine, were killed in a fire deliberately started by their father Darren Sykes at their home on Tennyson Close, Penistone in October 2014.
The girls' mum, Vicky Harris, says the pair were inspired to raise money for Claire after reading her story and seeing it on the news.
The bike ride will take place on August 20, and the girls hope to raise £500.
