A HEAVILY pregnant mum is trying to track down a 'guardian angel' first aider who stepped in to help when she collapsed in Wombwell.

Penny Walton, who is six months pregnant, collapsed on Monday.

She says the mystery woman, who's name is Jill, called a paramedic, contacted Penny's partner and even went to the hospital with her in an ambulance.

Jill is believed to be a teaching assistant at Queen's Road Academy, near the Metrodome.

Penny said: "She didn't leave my side. She rang my partner, and work and even when the ambulance came she went through to the hospital with me, where she made sure she found my partner and stopped till I was in the A and E department.

"She held my hand, gave me cuddles and was my guardian angel. I need to find her to say thank you and tell her how much it meant to me what she did that day.

"She made it clear that there really are some amazing genuine people out there who help others."
