A MAN was arrested in Hoyland yesterday on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting in Chapeltown.
Police were called at around 11pm on Friday, July 15, following reports shots had been fired in Burncross Road, Chapeltown. Nobody is believed to have been injured.
Six people, five men and one woman, were arrested in connection with the incident.
Then, yesterday afternoon (July 19) police arrested a 26-year-old man in Hoyland in connection with the incident.
He remains in custody today (July 20) being questioned by officers.
