POLICE have arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was shot in Wombwell yesterday morning.
Just after midnight yesterday (Thursday, July 7) a weapon was fired through the door of a property in Burrows Grove, Wombwell.
A woman suffered a minor injury to her arm during the incident.
The man arrested currently remains in police custody.
