FIRE CREWS rescued a woman from a house fire in Worsborough on Monday.
Crews from Barnsley, Tankersley and Cudworth attended the blaze in Osmond Place at 1:50am.
On arrival, they found the house was well alight, but after entering the house, they were able to bring the blaze under control.
They managed to rescue the woman who was left in the hands of the ambulance service and taken to hospital.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
