CHANGES are expected to be made to bus services in Barnsley next year - and transport bosses want your opinion on the proposals.

Plans by the newly-formed Barnsley Bus Partnership - which include changes to bus routes and service numbers - are expected to be implemented in January 2017.

The Partnership brings together local bus operators Stagecoach Yorkshire, Arriva, TM Travel, Globe Coaches and Waterson Coaches with Barnsley Council and the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE).

Public consultation on Barnsley’s planned bus route changes will take place between Monday June 13 and Sunday July 31 online at travelsouthyorkshire.com/bbp.

Paper feedback forms will be available from Customer Service Desks at Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Meadowhall, and Sheffield Interchanges for those without access to the internet.
