A FIVE-WEEK long ping pong festival will launch in Barnsley on Saturday, and the worlds No.1 Paralympian will be in attendance.
The Alhambra will host Team GB star Will Bayley to celebrate the start of the Ping! table tennis festival.
Will - who will represent Great Britain in this year's Rio Paralympics - will put on a special exhibition at 11.45am to show off his skills on the table, as well as meet and greet the public.
Barnsley’s own Paralympian and table tennis star, Sue Gilroy, will also be on hand to meet fans.
Table tennis tables will be popping up all around the borough during the festival, including in the town centre, outside Barnsley Town Hall and at parks and heritage sites.
It is free to take part.
