Samantha has now been found.
POLICE are searching for a missing teenage girl from Wath.
Sixteen-year-old Samantha Bettney was last seen leaving her home address in Poplar Drive, in the Wath area, at about 2.30pm today and has not been seen or heard from since.
Officers, along with her family, are concerned for her well-being and are keen to ensure she is safe and well.
Samantha is described as about 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with long blonde hair and is believed to be wearing a red and navy check shirt dress with leggings and black, sparkly Converse trainers.
Anyone who has seen or spoken to Samantha should call police on 101 quoting incident number 729 of 23 May 2016.
