BARNSLEY couple Leah Washington and Joe Pugh will raise money for Barnsley Hospital by taking part in the Rainbow Dash.
Leah and Joe who were both involved in the Alton Towers Smiler crash last year - but are proving that they aren’t going to let the accident hold them back by taking part in the 5k Rainbow Dash route.
Leah, 18, had to have her left leg amputated after the crash and has learned to walk again using a prosthetic leg.
Joe, 19, has also had to learn to walk again after his knees were badly shattered in the crash.
The pair will be joined by their mums, Louise Washington and Julie Pugh when they take part in the Rainbow Dash on Sunday 5th June.
