BARNSLEY HOSPITAL has been named as one of the top 40 in the UK.
The hospital received the accolade from CHKS - a healthcae organisation that provides intelligence and quality improvement services.
The award is based on the 20 key performance indicators covering safety, clinical effectiveness, health outcomes, efficiency, patient experience and quality of care.
Diane Wake, Chief Executive at Barnsley Hospital, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be awarded with this prestigious accolade. It is testament to the hard work and dedication of our fantastic staff who continuously strive to provide high quality, safe care to the people of Barnsley.”
