BARNSLEY'S fight to secure a League One play-off place has gone down to the final game of the season.
The Reds currently occupy sixth position in the league after a 2-2 draw against Colchester on Saturday.
Nearest rivals Scunthorpe claimed a 1-0 home win against Port Vale at the weekend, leaving them level on points with Barnsley, but with a lower goal difference.
Gillingham, also in the hunt for the final play-off place, saw their hopes dashed after a 2-1 defeat away at Burton Albion.
It means Barnsley's fate is still in their hands - although it's likely they'll have to win away at already promoted and would be champions Wigan on the final day of the season to secure a play-off spot.
Gillingham take on Millwall at home knowing they have to win to have any chance of finishing sixth, while Scunthorpe have to better Barnsley's result to claim the play-off spot, as they take on Sheffield United away from home.
The final round of fixtures takes place this Sunday (8 May).
