VIKINGS will invade Barnsley this weekend - and you have the chance to meet them.
To celebrate Experience Barnsley’s latest exhibition, Heroes: Viking kings, conquerors and explorers, a band of vikings will be roaming the galleries on Saturday.
They will be telling tales of their fierce battles and disclosing fascinating secrets about their eventful lives.
People are invited to come to the free family fun day where there will be lots of activities taking place as well as storytelling, crafts and the appearance of an authentic Viking longboat.
The event takes place from Saturday 30 April to Sunday 14 August.
