MORE affordable housing could be coming to Darfield.
An application for 30 affordable houses, to be built as part of the Together Housing Group off Havelock Street, adjacent to Snape Hill Road, has been made to Barnsley Council by D J Atkinson Construction Ltd.
A planning application for 32 homes was approved in 2012, but it expired in May last year.
The site was originally used for housing until it was demolished in the 1970s, and is currently unused.
