BARNSLEY will receive cash from the government to repair more than 4,000 potholes.
The council will receive £218,000 from the government's £250 million Pothole Action Fund.
Funding is calculated according to the length of the local road network in the area.
However, Barnsley is set to receieve the least amount of money in South Yorkshire, with Doncaster securing £250,000 and Rotherham receiving £229,000.
