A MARATHON MAN from Barnsley will take on three marathons in three different cities in just three months to raise money for a children's charity.
Dan Williams will run marathons in Manchester, Belfast and Derry to raise money for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and their families.
Dan said: "I'm lucky in that I get to spend each and every day with my little boy. He's absolutely my pride and joy and I can't imagine anything different. However, some people aren't as lucky as I am - and the cruelest disease of all - cancer - affects a lot of children.
"It's going to take a lot of commitment, training and discipline to do these marathons, but if I can raise enough money to know that I've helped a family in their time of need, then that's all the incentive necessary."
