BARNSLEY'S OLDEST cycling club will take part in a charity bike ride this summer in memory of a Barnsley soldier killed in Afghanistan.
Barnsley Road Club will take part in the Barnsley Boundary Heroes Ride on 28 August in memory of Private Matthew Thornton, who was killed in November 2011.
Entries are open now for the 80 mile sportive around the Barnsley boundary.
