BARNSLEY HISTORY DAY will take place this weekend.
People are invited to celebrate at the town hall on Sunday, 20 March.
There will be lots to see and do at the free event, which remembers the borough’s proud and exciting past.
It will also showcase how people can get involved in local heritage.
Visitors can browse the stalls from local heritage groups and organisations, enjoy film shows, talks, tours, exhibitions and take part in family craft activities, as well as a range of other events.
